Different analysis methods are used in Ahlatcı Metal Refinery's state-of-the-art laboratories. Mass measurement of the analyte (chemical content targeted in the analytical procedure) amount of the substance to be chemically analyzed is performed with 6-digit precision scales with 'Gravimetric Analysis' among the analysis methods. All metals except silver are decomposed with the help of lead to determine the gold content in alloyed metals with the cupellation method. Also, in 'Kal process', which is another analysis method, the silver in the silver-gold alloy is decomposed using nitric acid. The remaining substances are washed, dried and annealed to obtain gold.

Instrumental analyzes are also performed with various devices in the refinery. With the help of ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy) and XRF (X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer) devices, the amount of precious metals such as gold and platinum in liquid solutions is determined accurately with rays and sound.
